The Bunny Inspiration

So...you wonder why the bunny? Well, my lady might not appreciate this, but here it is...when she was 10 years old a cruel little boy told her she looked like a bunny b/c of her smile (need I say more?) And it has always driven her nuts. And here we are 14 years later...Aly June Designs, rockin' the bunny! Every time you buy a bunny shirt remember that even the cruel people in life can be an inspiration.

Caught this fish in the Colorado River last year...I came across it and realized how much I miss fishing.

That's right..I love Jalapeno Julian Jam. No peanut butter and raspberry, strawberry, blueberry or whatever jelly for me. I want peanut butter and jalapeno jam for breakfast.

Christmas

Christmas is always fun, yet draining. You get together with your crazy family, eat some BOMB tamales, and chill all day. My wife and I headed out to Holtville, CA. H-town is where I grew up. It is such a kick back town. It's so kick back, that it doesn't even have one street light. What I like most about Holtville is that it never changes. I love going there because I know that you can always catch a fresh breath of air, away from the city. It is in this town where the first Aly June Designer project tried to take off. If any of you remember Fr33 Bz, you know what I'm talking about.

Bomb Breakfast...

There's a little breakfast place in town called Cinnamon Productions. We try to make it in there once a month. They have everything from cinnamon rolls to huevos rancheros. If you're ever in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA stop on in.

Life doesn't get any better...

I have tried tons of tamales, but nothing beats my mom's. She spends all day in the kitchen the day before Christmas making batches. Thanks mom!

Snow is COLD!!!

We just got back from Tahoe...here we are getting ready to go sledding. Man it was cold, there's nothing like sunny CA.

Better than Sprinkles!

My wife made some bomb pumpkin cupcakes for Thanksgiving...if you've been to Sprinkles you know a good cupcake. But nothing tops the wife's batch. She made these all from scratch.
