It was my birthday last weekend and my wife came up with the best surprise dinner for us to have: English Muffin Pizzas!

Nice and cheesy as you can see.Had a good time making them. Super Easy. All you need are your favorite pizza toppings (pepperoni, pineapples, onions, bell peppers), pizza sauce, cheese, English muffins, and an oven set at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes.

ALY JUNE ON VA-K

Everybody needs a break! Right? Well Al and I just took a break off to the Bahamas for a week. Not only was this a retreat from day to day life, but a time to calm the mind. Our trip to Nassau on New Providence Island was good times all around. It is amazing what happens in your mind when you give it a little time on a sunny white sandy beach and sun rays. I had time to think about the direction in which Aly June is headed.

Of course, Alyce and I had time away for ourselves. There's nothing like spending time with the person you love and would do anything for.

Over all it was great romantic get away. Now we're just ready for more.

The Great Depression

Hey everybody! Long time no blog. Al and I have been very busy. Every aspect of life has been blurring together and there has been no compartmentalization. Another words: It has been NUTS around here. The espresso machine has been steaming non-stop, but it's alllll good. History has taught me one thing; Extreme times produce extreme creativity, and that's where I'm at. I've been working on side projects here and there, and our DEAR ALY JUNE tee is at the printers. Ohh, great anticipation!
In all the craziness we found some time to do a photo shoot with this sick photo gal, Drew B. She was awesome. Here are some of the shots.

We went out to LA to meet up at American Apparel to get some business done. After a morning of work, we decided to play alittle. We went on over to Beverly Hills to have lunch and we macked heavy at the original world famous Sprinkles. Driving back, we drove down Melrose scouting out where we're gonna have our future shop. LOL. We decided that next door to Paul Frank would be a good location someday.
Callin me a dreamer? I sell dreams; just remember you'll either be driving to LA or Diego to hook yourself up with a world famous Aly June. HaHa, anyways.

The Bunny Inspiration

So...you wonder why the bunny? Well, my lady might not appreciate this, but here it is...when she was 10 years old a cruel little boy told her she looked like a bunny b/c of her smile (need I say more?) And it has always driven her nuts. And here we are 14 years later...Aly June Designs, rockin' the bunny! Every time you buy a bunny shirt remember that even the cruel people in life can be an inspiration.
